M5 - A38. Leave the A38 at either Buckfastleigh and go via Totnes to Kingsbridge or at Wrangaton via Loddiswell. Take the Salcombe Road (A381) out of Kingsbridge and turn right for South Milton after two miles. Go straight into the village and turn very sharp right just past the church (there is a post box and thatched cottage set back on the corner). Shute Farm is 300 yards at the end of the road. The house is surrounded by the colourful garden with a stream running through it and past the garden gate. Guests are welcome to sit in the garden and use the picnic bench. The farmhouse itself is approximately 400 years old. All the ground floor rooms are beamed and the lounge has a stunning inglenook fireplace and the fire is lit when. The evenings get cooler. Guests can use the lounge throughout the day to either relax, read or watch the television. Click here to view images of the Bedrooms.

South Milton is a pretty partly thatched village situated only 1.5 miles from Thurlestone Sands. The five beaches at Thurlestone are sandy and safe to swim from. Just around the headland is Bantham,. A very popular beach for families, with fine golden sands backed by sand dunes, and it offers a stunning picturesque view of the Avon Estuary and Burgh Island. The market town of Kingsbridge - the hub of the South Hams - is only three miles away.
