Style Slacker: Would you wear these pants?
http://styleslacker.blogspot.com/2008/12/would-you-wear-these-pants.html
Because you're (sorta) worth it. Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Would you wear these pants? Groovy with ninja slippers! Still, I'm also aware that people, even the not-so-entrenched in real life folks like fashion editors, think these are the stupidest trousers in the entire world. I mean, my boyfriend refers to them as the "poopy pants." Apparently, even that precocious fashion kid hates 'em. Well, okay, she bought them, but after closer inspection, returned them. Labels: Comme des Garcons for H and M.

Unpacking My Library: December 2009
http://unpacking-my-library.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 30, 2009. I once received a prestigious award to study for a doctoral degree. The foundation that funded the grant, which was offered to students in all fields (I concentrated in American Studies), used three major criteria to determine who merited an award: academic achievement, passion for the value of education, and commitment to teaching as a career. Although I did not understand this until recently, an invitation four years ago to lead a reading class at Richard Hugo House. It wo...

Because you're (sorta) worth it. Thursday, April 16, 2009. Am I the Only Chick in NY Who's Disappointed by Topshop? After reading many a swooning blog post about how AMAZING the new Topshop store is, I finally decided to brave the crowds and go scope it out for myself. It's not my first time at the rodeo- I've been to TS many times whilst. On a related note, this new British "gastropub". Just opened on my block. Because you know, the food in England rules! So bitchy today i know). Topshop in New York.
