ALICE STANLEY: bears bears bears
http://alicestanley.blogspot.com/2011/07/bears-bears-bears.html
Monday, 11 July 2011. So over the past few months I've been knitting, a lot, and making bears and bunnies. I took them to our Sunday Market at OVO and they've been selling pretty well. Now I've nearly ran out so I can see this summer being a summer of knitting and sewing. Hopefully soon our bear orientated blog will be finished and ready to go too. Long live the pieche! 12 July 2011 at 06:56. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. There was an error in this gadget. Its been a while.

ALICE STANLEY: EXTERNAL PROJECT: Acrylics
http://alicestanley.blogspot.com/2011/03/external-project-acrylics.html
Thursday, 3 March 2011. Some experiments with Acrylic paint. I've been finding it difficult to translate pencil drawings into colour, whilst keeping the detail. After trying out coloured pencil and watercolour, I think I've decided that Acrylic works best. I also like the pastel coloured backgrounds as they help the continuity of the images. ALICE STANLEY: October 2010
http://alicestanley.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 13 October 2010. Summer Trip Part One. Ok so, this summer me and Philippe went interrailing, it was an amazing experience. We started the trip by driving through France to Carpentras. The weather was beautiful, we had our first storm of the trip here and possibly the loudest thunder I've ever heard! Also, Phil's nephew Leo was with us, who is an absolute joy. After we left France we started our epic 13 hour journey around The ALPS. After our short but sweet two days in Bologna, we went to Flor...

Saturday, 19 March 2011. Yesterday was the deadline and crit for the External Project. It was nice to see what everyone had come up with for the Hobbs and the APN briefs. These are my final images, although there are some I would've liked to work on a little more, I'm pretty happy with them as a set. Also now its really nice to only have one project to focus on for the first time this year! And these are the swing tags. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. ALICE STANLEY: Its been a while...
http://alicestanley.blogspot.com/2011/07/its-been-while.html
Sunday, 3 July 2011. Its been a while. I haven't posted anything in ages, I've been really busy with finishing college, putting on shows and applying for jobs. But I did go home for two weeks and spent time in the beautiful Bellerby which was lovely, even if I was dying with hayfever. These are some photos of our garden. So now we are putting on another show called OVO at The Red Gallery from the 7th - 12th July, so if anyone is around come and see it! More info at http:/ www.ovoshow.co.uk/.

ALICE STANLEY: July 2010
http://alicestanley.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Monday, 19 July 2010. Progress with the summer reads. Don't think I'll do it for the project though. Anyway, I've got three more to read before I make a decision! Tuesday, 13 July 2010. Tuesday, 6 July 2010. I went to "Picasso Peace Freedom" at the Tate Liverpool a few weeks ago. Its a really good show, especially the prints. I've been looking at David Hockney again too, I've always liked his drawings and prints more than his paintings. Thursday, 1 July 2010. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Things to look at.
