http://www.codosonthewindowsills.com/2014/09/happy-thoughts-for-thursday_25.html
Thursday, September 25, 2014. Happy Thoughts for Thursday. I think the happiest thought for this week is that today is Thursday! This week seems to have taken forever, while at the same time has only just started. Yeah, yeah, so I've been saying for years that I hate Muncie. I still do, but I love a whole lot of people who are still there. It was great to catch up with everyone last weekend, and to pretend just for a couple days that I never left. Busy work that isn't. The wedding. Why.

Monday, June 30, 2014. What makes a boxing shoe? Nike Free 5.0 TR Fit 4. It coms in a billion colors and looks pretty darn cool. This is a ASICS Gel Fortius TR. It's less flashy and comes in less colors than the previous shoe, but is a little cheaper. Less color options, lower price. Saturday, June 28, 2014. I love texture work, so I really enjoyed making this sweater. I'm looking forward to wearing it with dresses to work. I wanted a cropped sweater that I could wear with all my waist cinching d...I sti...

Saturday, August 30, 2014. Thursday, August 28, 2014. Happy Thoughts for Thursday. Alright. I've been on a bit of a blog hiatus as I did a bit of travel for work, a bit of travel for fun, and then a lot of catching up on life. My friends and I have been apartment hunting. I'm preparing to move out of my mother's house for the first time. Exciting! I'm hoping to make a dent in my reading pile soon. I need to get back in to keeping a book at work to read during lunch! Falling in love again.

Friday, October 3, 2014. Happy Thoughts for Thursday (On a Friday) (again). Having a full schedule. I have a lot to do at work now to catch up, which I much prefer to not knowing exactly what I should be doing. The voter registration deadline is in 6 days. I don't say that it's exciting because the registration period is almost over, because it would be wonderful if everyone was automatically registered or if you could register up until the day of, but because soon I'll have weekends again!

Codos on the Windowsills: Brooklyn Tweed
http://www.codosonthewindowsills.com/2014/09/brooklyn-tweed.html
Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Do you all know about Brooklyn Tweed. Why didn't I know about Brooklyn Tweed? I just stumbled across their patterns on Ravelry this weekend and then promptly spent hours drooling over their look books. Knitwear, beautifully designed and fully modern, plus excellent photography and styling? I pulled out the patterns that I most want to jump on. There are so many beautiful things and I have no idea where to start. I love the simplicity in Wake. And the details in Arabella.

Codos on the Windowsills: Sweater Weather
http://www.codosonthewindowsills.com/2014/10/sweater-weather.html
Wednesday, October 1, 2014. A friend texted "happy sweater weather day" to me earlier yesterday morning. I hope that sweater weather is here to stay. I'm home sick and happy to load up on knitwear. I keep swearing off "fashion blogging" because who really cares what you wear? Then again, it's m blog so I can do what I want and I'm in love with this outfit and fully intend to wear this and nothing else until April. It's just better to have that out in the open now instead of later.

http://www.codosonthewindowsills.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 16, 2014. Happy Thoughts for Thursday. It's been a very busy week. I keep thinking that I'm going to settle in to a blogging routine. The rest of my life isn't following any particular pattern, so I don't know why I thought my internet use might. The current governor of Chicago came to our office yesterday. For a press conference. He signed over $2.5 million dollars to build a new child development center, which is very exciting and also a little scary. Yay, more work! That was sent to ...

Sunday, March 30, 2014. No really. Arms as knitting needles. Who would have thought? This is a very quick, very easy project. It snags easily, and that 's hard to fix, but with a nice, heavy yarn this would be a could project, and would be great for easy gifts around holiday time. Sunday, March 9, 2014. Hey So. Life. This semester has been incredibly busy, and emotional, and wonderful. Here's the break down:. I joined the boxing club and I love it. We practice twice a week for 2 hours at a time, plus...
