On November 14, 2008 the Alexander family received Sierra, an assistance dog in training from the Dog with Wings program. On July 21, 2009 DWW decided to release her from the program and offer her to us. We have accepted. Wednesday, July 22, 2009. The Journey Comes to a Bittersweet End. Enough with the "bitter".
