In My Little World: October 2008
http://invalslittleworld.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Does this happen to anyone but me? Every single time I feel like I'm home free, that I have a solid outline and am confident that the story from here on in makes sense, I hit a wall. Every Single. Time. I'm writing a structured novel, which is likely a mistake to start with. Every chapter has three scenes, two from Tempest's viewpoint, and one from Aben's. They start out the story in the same location, and will (I think! So I pulled out Holly Lisle's Create a Plot Clinic. Yep H...

http://berginmania.blogspot.com/2011/08/last-week.html
Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Because I'm not going to write this in my journal because I'm lazy, I'll record it here. Last week was a doozy! Tuesday - Earthquake- epicenter about 20 miles from my parents in Virginia. We felt it up here in NJ. Crazy! Wednesday - explained "where babies come from" to Lucy. She thought I was kidding. :) So funny. Friday- Prep prep prep for the impending hurricane. Stressful! No wonder I'm so tired. Glad it's over. Glad we all survived. God is good. BerginMania: June 2010
http://berginmania.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 27, 2010. So, we broke the Sabbath in a big way today. At least in my opinion. First, just let me say, that I'm not a "perfect" Sabbath Keeper, but I do try to limit our Sabbaths to attending church and staying at home as a family. I'm sure there's much more we can do and improve on. I'm going to be thankful that we do what we do for now. Why didn't I do that this time? When we got in the car to drive to the singles' branch (the singles branch meeting in the Sewell building so we were able t...

BerginMania: Lessons I'm Pondering and Learning
http://berginmania.blogspot.com/2011/05/lessons-im-pondering-and-learning.html
Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Lessons I'm Pondering and Learning. I'm going through a growth spurt. I've been learning all sorts of lessons about myself and how God interacts with me.us, really. I don't know a lot yet. I'm still in a pondering phase. What have I been pondering? Godly emotions. Huh? Recently I found myself VERY disappointed in a situation. That sent me to ponder. How does Heavenly Father deal with His disappointment in me (us)? Then I thought, does God get disappointed in us? Leah and Bad Words.

BerginMania: May 2011
http://berginmania.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Lessons I'm Pondering and Learning Part II. I wrote the first part of my "lessons" about a week ago and have just been kind of sitting on them and pondering. I had a little smidge of a breakthrough in my quest to understand God's dealings with me/us. As I was praying/pondering last night, I was reminded of Jesus's words from the cross when he said, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." (Luke 23:34). I need to adjust my perceptions and remember the words of Jesus w...

Tuesday, September 28, 2010. An Experiment with Dinner. I get my best ideas in the shower. HA! Today I had the idea to give the kids a set amount of money each and they have to put together dinner. Everyone got $2, except Robbie who got $3 because he had the main course. So for just about $10. This was our dinner. Joey- side dishes- can of creamed corn and orange jello. Well, we didn't get home in time to make the Jello. Scratch. The can of creamed corn was opened by Joey using the super comp...Leah- des...
