Grandma took her out to ride the tram going up to OHSU and then they went to the Rose Gardens, while we were putting up all the decorations and guests arrived. Tuesday, February 3, 2009. Well Superbowl Sunday Skylar turned three. She had a weekend long celebration, starting with Grandma and momma taking her to Toys-r-Us. Where she got lots of cool toys including a trampoline, that she absolutely loves. A yo-yo, which she is doing lots of ticks with now. A go Diego toy.her favorite show at the moment. And even a tool set, because she loves fixing things. All in all I think she enjoyed her birthday. And no Superbowl party would be complete without olive fingers!

Monday, December 28, 2009. Well this year was a very fun Christmas! Skylar was the most into it than ever. She was singing Rudolf the red nose reindeer all the time and jingle bells batman smells(thanks to her wonderful mommy teaching her and her friends the song). Before Christmas Skylar and daddy made a gingerbread train. They worked very well together, unlike last year when they both had different ideas on how it should be done ;). So she closed her eyes tight and finally went to bed.

Now at this point I am stunned, and Skylar can tell.so she explains to me. Mommmmm, she needs nipples to smell the beautiful day.ahhhh.the fresh air. And she takes a deep breath. On Monday me and Phil took her to orientation so that she could see her classroom,meet her classmates and all three of her teachers. We were only there for an hour and a half, but it was full of fun and excitement. Skylar didn't want to leave. She also got to sit on the magic carpet where she was read a story that was in both English and Spanish.yup that's right she will be learning Spanish in preschool. Then it was playground time!

Monday, April 20, 2009. Play Date with an old friend. Today Skylar had an old friend come over to play. A little boy that we used to live next to came over, they are only a few months apart. It was super cute. They had so much fun together.They started off by dancing. Which is always cute. And made Skylar very happy, because most kids don't like dancing with her. Every night Samantha now gets to enjoy story time with daddy and Skylar . The girls lay in bed and both quietly listen to whatever daddy reads them. Sunday, May 10, 2009. Well a little over a month has past. And Samantha is growing! She was just weighed this week and she is now over 10 pounds. She is almost out of her 0-3 month clothes. I can't believe it. She is still sleeping in our room in her bassinet and eating every 2-3 hours. So mommy is still SUPER TIRED and getting up several times a night.
