Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Dog Bites, We Lose! As a Pit Bull owner, dog bites are a huge concern to me. One even half snap and I have a dead dog. I've worked hard to have dogs that can take most anything thrown at them and not react in an aggressive way. It has taken a lot of training, but it shows when I'm out with the dogs. The smile that replaced the anxiety on his face was priceless. It warmed the hearts of everyone around. After last night, I'm shocked we don't have MORE dog bites with children!

Sunday, August 4, 2013. I know it's been a while since I updated this blog. I recently started working a full time job and in between that, working with Peanut, and spending far too much time at the vets with Nubs, this has just been at the back of my priority list. Seems the reaction caused gingivitis to take hold in his mouth, even though his teeth were still beautiful at 6 1/2 years old, and he'll likely need surgery this winter to take care of the gums. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE this dog?

Saturday, October 19, 2013. It has been a crazy couple of months! Here's the updates on my awesome pups. Since we haven't found a house here yet and are renting a house that doesn't allow dogs, some musher friends of ours, the Warrens, were very kind to let my pups stay at their house until we find a home of our own. Sunday, June 9, 2013. Anyone who knows me knows I'm very hard on myself more so when it comes to my dogs. I really never look at myself as a good trainer or that I've done that great with my dogs.
