In three weeks, doctors had to amputate ( meaning: cut off ) her legs and arms. She lives. The young lady on the left is Helen. Chiều qua Tiệp gặp tôi, mắt mệt mỏi, vẫn cười nhưng tôi tìm mãi không ra chút vui vẻ ngoài những vết chân chim mắt rớt lại cuối nụ cười. Tiệp khuấy nhẹ ly cà phê như tìm chữ đắp vào buổi chiều bên tôi. Tôi nói Tiệp về, khi nào rảnh lại gặp. Tối về Tiệp nhắn tin hẹn cho sáng nay. Tôi nhắm mắt vẫn nhớ cách Tiệp cười.
