Smith in Israel 2010. Global Technology Entrepreneurship Fellowship. Yesterday, after our fantastic hike and tour of Masada. We departed for our next stop of the day - the Ein Gedi. Waterfalls. Located west of the Dead Sea. Close to Masada and the caves of Qumran. Ein Gedi contains a natural oasis. Writings. For example, it is featured prominently in the Song of Songs. And also in Samuel. In the caves of Ein Gedi. After departing the waterfalls, we traveled further up the coast to Mineral Beach.

One thing that became apparent to the participants in this program last year was the stark contrast between Israeli and American communication styles. Add to that dichotomy the diversity of our team this year: one Taiwanese, two mainland Chinese, one Brazilian and one Nigerian by way of the United Kingdom. While multinational companies have found that this type of diversity often leads to great results, it is not without its difficulties.
