Susan Farabaugh's Blog. The Magic of the Fair. I’m from the fall Cambria County Fair. Where just an hour of sleep a day’s not rare. Horses and campers make up the day. Saddles and bridles and bails of hay. Pole-bending and barrels, those horses are fast. You better not knock or you’re coming in last. There’s speed n action and keyhole too. Show everyone what your horse can do. Doc and Butch, Bridle and Wicks. They’re making good time as the clock ticks. Kayla and Morgan, Sarah and Baby. We are quite alik...

Not that I would never write a blog again, I think that I would start a new one when I became a teacher in order to just lay out ideas and information about teaching for other teachers, and read information and ideas from other teachers. Still have a LOT to learn. April 12, 2011 @ 3:20 am. 183; { Uncategorized.

March 25, 2011 @ 12:57 am. 183; { Uncategorized. As I prepared for exam number two for ELED 425, I finished reading the book “Notebook Know-How.” After finishing it, I realized that this book is nothing that I anticipated it would be. It was so much better! In her classroom, the author uses so many techniques in order to make her students knowledgable about writing. She makes writing so important in the classroom, and that is how it should be. I like the venn diagram that she uses on page 91 also.

Susan Farabaugh's Blog. Laquo; Learning How to Pass the Friday Morning Spelling Test. The Process and the Product: Reflecting on My Memoir. Making Learning From Mistakes Possible. April 5, 2011 by sfarabaugh. All men make mistakes, but only wise men learn from their mistakes. The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing. It is important for everyone to learn from their mistakes, especially children. But how do we, as teachers, make this possible? Makes 1 or 2 errors in capitalization, spe...
