Where socks are a party! So, I am getting a rythm going here – try knitting a few socks, unravelling them at night in my armchair. Yes of course I’m unravelling them, because that’s some good yarn that I can’t just throw away when my experiments go horribly wrong! I have decided to only use the good stuff while I’m learning, so I can eliminate “not the right yarn” from the experimental process. I’ll have to see if there’s a better way after I get those heel stitches fixed. I tried it on, and it fits well.

Take all but 24 needles out of the cylinder. 8211; Cast on your waste yarn and do a few rows. Then cast on your sock yarn. 8211; Knit 3 rows (back and forth), fold cuff over. 8211; Knit 17 rows, put left 12 needles on hold. 8211; Short row 4 stitches each end of the 12 needles in working position on right. Where socks are a party! So I took a bit of a break from the circular machine because I found this bulky yarn and I wanted to try it. This is Bernat Jacquards, and I think it’s mostly meant for sweaters, but I thought it would make a neat sock. No nylon in this yarn, but super comfy🙂 Simple folded cuff, seamed up the side with a kitchener stitch toe. Once I get past that toe, I’ll post pictures! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Where socks are a party! One lady at the Yahoo group. Suggested that it may loosen up as I use it. So that’s no problem, I just hold the cam to allow the yarn carrier to get to the other side of it before it gets to the heel. I hope that makes sense. Here’s a picture of the area I’m talking about. In the meantime, I am able to get all the way down to the toe – super exciting! I love the yarn colours, and the ribbing means that the sock hugs my foot which is a good thing. Where socks are a party! I don’t like to do any adjustments on the machine because I know someone before me had the machine set there – probably for a good reason. So as much as I didn’t want to, I finally adjusted the ribber tension to see if that was the problem with the stitches. So I guess I just need some practice. Tjugo veckor under 30. En blogg om viktnedgång som medel för att få bli gravid. 9 mars, 2015. För 24 dagar sedan inträffade det: Edvin, 52 centimeter lång och 3836 gram tung, föddes. En fantastisk liten kille! Vi hade en normal förlossning och allting gick bra. Vi mår bra, läker ihop lite varje dag, och lär känna varandra. 12 januari, 2015. Förlossningsrädsla 3: Besök på förlossningen. 8 januari, 2015. Möjlighet att få ha en barnmorska hos oss så mycket vi ville: hela tiden om vi tyckte att vi behövde det.

Söndag 26 augusti 2012. Renovering o Godaste äppelkakan. Är man desperat om man bestämmer sig för att baka, då man är som mest inne i renovering av kök? Jo, kanske ;-) VI bestämde oss lite snabbt för att pigga till vårt kök. Min önskan var att måla 1 vägg, men sen behövdes visst kaklet bytas ut, skåpen skall få sig en uppfräschning o taket skall målas. ja ni förstår. Vi har bara hunnit börja med att riva ner, mura o nu spacklat väggarna. Sugen på äppelkaka dessutom! Måste ju göra plats för min Kitchen aid.
