The Merry Little Breezes: September 2008
http://merrylittlebreezes.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
The Merry Little Breezes. If you hold on, it's easier to maintain the illusion of control. But it's more fun to fly if you just let the wind carry you. Friday, September 5, 2008. It occurred to me after looking at Dine and Dash. That since I love to cook and bake, I should have a food blog. Here it is: Flour is Fun. It's still somewhat under construction, but I'm hoping to put up some of my favorite recipes and food links. Thursday, September 4, 2008. More ways to enjoy your picture show. 37 Pretty Woman...

Now that you "Mensch"-ion it...: December 2013
http://ronnieandrichard.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Now that you "Mensch"-ion it. Sunday, 29 December 2013. Renovations Begin On the Main Floor Bathroom. On Friday we decided it was time to remove the wooden box that held three florescent light fixtures and see why the ceiling in that room had been dropped from it's ten foot height. What follows are the pictures that answers that question. I'll try to put the pictures in a logical order. Sorry to those who have already seen these on Facebook. It comes from here, the junction box for the three fixtures.

Now that you "Mensch"-ion it...: What is Next?
http://ronnieandrichard.blogspot.com/2014/03/what-is-next.html
Now that you "Mensch"-ion it. Friday, 28 March 2014. It has been a few weeks since I posted an update on our renovation. The kitchen is demolished as much as we want at this point in time. These next pictures were taken on February 17th. Old plumbing and knob and tube wiring. Closer look at the old drain pipe. The bedroom above the kitchen has a sink in it so we did know there was more recent plumbing but had not idea that there was older drain pipes in the ceiling. Why were they never removed? Conservat...

A Grand Homeschool Experiment. Archive for April, 2009. April 5, 2009. I know, I don’t ever keep up. But that’s okay, because it’s hard to keep up with school as well. I’ll be making changes to the blog, probably deleting the old entries, changing up links, updating info pages, etc. Figured it was about time to hop back into this thing. Our Family | A Grand Homeschool Experiment

A Grand Homeschool Experiment. Thanks for dropping in! I’m Faith, and I constantly feel like I’m just beginning this homeschooling journey, although we’re finishing up our third official year (1st grade, then 4th and 5th, for our oldest). I figured I’d let you know a little bit about us. So, that’s us. Right now, we live near the Gulf Coast (pray for us come hurricane season! But that could change at any point should Alan receive a call back into a specific church (right now, he is on what the LCMS calls...

A Grand Homeschool Experiment. And for Michael, it will be a way to really balance learning with comprehension, bring deeper understanding of subtlety, and continue to assist in his struggle with communication. I’ll eventually add more here, on additional pages, outlining specifically which resources we’re using with each child. Hopefully. I abandoned this blog 2 years ago and just came back, so yeah, hopefully we can keep up this time! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Now that you "Mensch"-ion it...: September 2014
http://ronnieandrichard.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Now that you "Mensch"-ion it. Tuesday, 9 September 2014. We Stayed Home this Summer. This is the first summer that we have chosen to stay home all summer, work on our yard and actually watch our garden grow keeping the weeds under control. I so enjoyed Lynda's lilies last year, while we visited with her, that I decided we would order lilies for our front garden. We had at least three Asiatic Lilies of this colour. There were two or three of this colour with just the one flower. 2nd Oriental lily was pink.

Now that you "Mensch"-ion it...: February 2013
http://ronnieandrichard.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Now that you "Mensch"-ion it. Sunday, 17 February 2013. I believe I have now found six different layers of wall paper. All these are in various stages of being stripped and who ever was doing the work got tired or bored and never took every piece off which gives us a great history of the renovations in the kitchen. If I add the chimney stack I think we will have the complete picture. This will be just another problem that I have to deal with. This is what the pantry looks like now and it winds under the ...

Now that you "Mensch"-ion it...: July 2013
http://ronnieandrichard.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Now that you "Mensch"-ion it. Monday, 15 July 2013. It is Monday morning and the day began as most week-days. The alarm went off at 5:30 am (I must admit) I struggled to actually get moving this morning. I got up, dressed for work, prepared my lunch and breakfast. Then headed into the office. I shall look on the bright side. I have more flowers to plant in the garden and I still need to rest after the garage sale we had on Saturday. So a nap now and in the garden later. Now that you "Mensch"-ion it...: Results of Our Outside Labour
http://ronnieandrichard.blogspot.com/2015/01/results-of-our-outside-labour.html
Now that you "Mensch"-ion it. Thursday, 1 January 2015. Results of Our Outside Labour. On the left side besides the two red wood dogwood shrubs we have added two nine bark shrubs which have burgundy coloured leaves (see picture below), these will be a nice contrast to the green dogwood and white house. Also on the leftside are Day lilies, Liatris and Tiger lilies. We have a small garden in front which off sets the path which I like. Richard working on leveling the last paving stone. I discovered that the...
