Sunday, October 17, 2010. Cairo - An Amazing City of Contradictions. This year we decided to take a short trip to Cairo. I titled this post "Cairo - an Amazing City of Contradictions" because despite its minor shortcomings, ie - traffic and dirt.Cairo is so magnificent historically. On several occassions, we found ourselves literally next to 5 rows of cars (ours being the 6th row) on a street which was "technically" only meant for 4 rows of cars. Rooftops (with satellite dishes and one guy on his roof).
