Geriatric Gapper: How to Make Traditional Australian Damper Bread
http://geriatricgapper.blogspot.com/2010/05/when-i-went-to-king-of-ranges.html
How to Make Traditional Australian Damper Bread. The dough is mixed in a bowl, and then turned out onto a flat surface to shape into a flat round. The bread was then eaten with meat, or smothered in golden syrup. Notice the thick soles to his boots! Cutting me a slice of the ...

Kadiköy and Şile, Istanbul, Turkey. Dick hard at work! After waving David off to work on Monday and having a leisurely breakfast, Marilyn, Dick and I walked down to the sea of Marmara and along the walkway. Although it was very hot, we stopped to play on the the machines in the exercise area before relaxing and watching the world go by from a nearby pavement café. We then caught a bus to. Our lunch was in a typical Turkish restaurant - very cheap and quite delicious! Overlooking the harbour in Şile.
