I originally trained as a speech and language therapist. After three years of working as a therapist at Darlington Memorial Hospital with a range of adult and paediatric duties, I undertook a postgraduate certificate of education specialising in children with severe learning difficulties at Bristol University. My subsequent work has included language resource roles for children with specific language impairment. Being Highly Specialist in Paediatric Fluency (including some adolescent and adult work).
