Friday, February 21, 2014. Guess who is 9 months already! She weighs 20 pounds, 12 ounces. Aidan wanted to be in the nine month photo shoot too. At 3 years and 7 months old, he weighs 35 pounds, 2 ounces. (We were at the doctor yesterday so I know their exact weights.). Aidan's big news is that he is potty trained! Thursday, February 21, 2013. Duties of Parents (Part I). On the girltalk blog. I recently read that, “If you only read one parenting book ever, read Duties of Parents. By JC Ryle.". Two weeks ago, I only needed $5 in order to qualify for free shipping so, of course, I had. I am loving it, but I’m also convicted by the millions of ways in which I fall short as Aidan’s mama. Tuesday, August 21, 2012. I have a love-hate relationship with money. On one hand, it can provide the most wonderful things; on the other, it's a necessary evil. But it's been on my mind lately. I ponder the self-control it takes to stick to my list at Target and not add additional items to my Amazon cart. I grieve over the time it takes to clip coupons, find (or create) budget-friendly, healthy meal plans. Day of the week for any.
