Monday, July 23, 2012. 4th of July 2012. Each year we go to Ray and Carole Grove's home on Angle Lake and have so much fun! The water was so chilly, so Mike let Malia stand on the windboard holding up one side of their dock, and she would kick and splash and dip her head in and whip it back up. I love these two. Chris, Kimmie, Ryder, and Bali. Wednesday, November 04, 2009. I was the "Run-a-way Bride" at a costume party that I had to go solo to b/c Chris was sick. How many kids cry and won't eat their cupcake on their birthday.only a FrithSmith/Sathre.we are not cake fans. My little Halloween baby.well the 29th, but I came home from the hospital on Halloween last year. On our way to go trick-or-treating at the Bridgeport Marketplace on the 30th. My favorite "treat" was 2 free kids meals at Daphines.

Thursday, October 06, 2011. Happy 1st Birthday Malia Claire! Malia had a hibiscus themed party. We made all of the decorations for her and, to follow tradition, we made her cake. Malia had a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and coconut. I used applesauce to replace all of the eggs and oil in the cake and it was delicious and so moist. Because it was so moist, it made it really hard to decorate, but Mike was able to pull it off and I thought that it looked amazing! DEMOLISHED. . . Malia and her Papa!

Sunday, July 22, 2012. Malia's first egg hunt we're going over strategy, game plan, defense and how to push over the other little girls without looking guilty. Gabe was a beast this year. He found several eggs with money inside! Yes, I know this is the "Spring" blog, but we have snow, and we had it several times during the spring. What is happening to our weather? Malia wasn't too sure what to think, but she knew that chocolate was there and that's all she needed to know. The reasons for my mother's day!

Saturday, March 26, 2011. One word describes this girl {HAPPY} I can't get enough of her! I can't give her enough kisses and I can't stop making her smile. Sunday, July 22, 2012. The trampoline has become the kids' favorite spot to play, everyday, but especially when there's snow. Gabe was always nice enough to give Malia tastes of snow, clean snow too! I love this face! Anytime that I have a hot drink, Malia is so intrigued and wants a taste. She says, "hot, hot mama," and really wants to taste. This time there was not any coffee in my cup, just hot chocolate so Malia loved sharing! Gabe's first day skiing! Went into the lodge to warm up with hot chocolate.

Monday, July 23, 2012. I'm sorry, I don't have any pictures of Marlene (Grandma). I can't leave her out though. I guess it's because she's always babysitting the kids for us, so I'm not there to take pictures of them together. But, thank you Marlene for all that you do for our kiddos! Malia's first painted toenails! And it begins What mama wears, Malia wears! This little girl likes to strip down to her scrawny little bear bum during her naps. I never know what I'll walk into when I wake her up.
