http://inmaterunasylum-michelle.blogspot.com/2010/11/dragons-play.html
If our ideas were inmates, we're the asylum! Tuesday, November 23, 2010. Written by Michelle Nielsen. Stepping off the carpet and onto the threshold of the citadel's front gate, Elbert dusted off his finest doublet and boldly knocked on the gate. He frowned as he waited, wondering where the staff were to tend this massive place. It looked as if a family of giants had resided there at one time. Elbert Jean-Jacob Englehiemer Wordsmith Esquire the Third, I presume? You are," she said. He amused her it s...

If our ideas were inmates, we're the asylum! Monday, May 30, 2011. Some Bag(gage) to Share. Getting deeper and deeper into my projects, I realize some of them are coming pretty close to being completed. All that is missing is a few important steps. Unfortunately, those steps will cost money, which like a lot of people, I don't have. But what I do have is a secret weapon. A fabric stash. A rather. In a word; Bags. Dice bags to be specific, but I'm letting the general public decide what to do with them.

If our ideas were inmates, we're the asylum! Sunday, October 31, 2010. Now You See It. NOW YOU SEE IT. And how exactly," asked Ms Carver with a tone of ominous calm, "does one lose a planet? The two scientists facing her were not immune to the menace in her voice, but they had no choice but to tell the truth. She'd find out anyway. I've read the reports," snapped Ms Carver. "Ravings of madmen, if you ask me. Can you explain to me what precisely this "gremloid energy" is? Once we know, how do we get these...

Inmate Run Asylum: April 2011

If our ideas were inmates, we're the asylum! Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Time of the Typewriter; an ode. To commemorate the closing of the last typewriter factory, I wrote a little poem. Time of the Typewriter; an ode. Written by Michelle Nielsen. Late 1800’s thou wert a marvel,. Made those who wrote at ease. No more vials of spilled ink. The writing desk would be replaced. By a device so filled with keys. As it evolved it grew complex,. Some could now erase,. Power brought haste and speed. Had to share this.

http://inmaterunasylum-michelle.blogspot.com/2011/12/delayed-debut-or-getting-over-it.html
If our ideas were inmates, we're the asylum! Saturday, December 10, 2011. A Delayed Debut or "Getting Over It". First of all I want to both thank and apologize to Michelle. She's a true friend and has been very supportive of me and my creative efforts. She is also a diversely talented, witty and creative artist in her own right. She gave me this forum to speak my mind, or lack thereof, about a year ago, so obviously I follow up on things in a timely manner. Then I started getting tweets from published au...

Inmate Run Asylum: September 2011
http://inmaterunasylum-michelle.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
If our ideas were inmates, we're the asylum! Thursday, September 8, 2011. I have a habit on twitter.I thank people on a regular basis for anything as humble as a retweet or a Follow Friday mention. Some people think it isn't necessary for this, but I'm forced to disagree. Saying "thank you" is an expression of gratitude. My mother and father taught me manners, it was important to learn such things in that day. I used to because that's what I was taught, but I do it for a different reason now.

Inmate Run Asylum: Harvest Game
http://inmaterunasylum-michelle.blogspot.com/2010/10/harvest-game.html
If our ideas were inmates, we're the asylum! Friday, October 29, 2010. Empress Sabine glanced past the supplicant when she heard the game warden step through the far door. Once her gold-flecked gaze targeted him, the warden nodded and slipped out of the audience chamber. Raising his face to the Empress, a death sentence in itself, the noble cried, “Take me! At the appointed time, the human attendants left her standing naked at the rim. In the arena below, the game waited, chosen for their strength an...
