Meyers' Fort: January 2010
http://meyersfort.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
LIFE, LOVE, AND LAUNDRY. Sunday, January 17, 2010. Keeping it Real in 2010. I enjoy reading a lot of other blogs. I like reading about people's kids, and their families - their triumphs and their pain. It helps us all put our lives in perspective when we see that other people also struggle and succeed. I especially like it when people share how they deal with those difficult times - be it with their faith or sense or humor. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. The Reidheads: My life as a mother-in-law
http://jimandtamrareidhead.blogspot.com/2011/10/my-life-as-mother-in-law.html
Sunday, October 23, 2011. My life as a mother-in-law. I have two sons-in-law. They are pretty good guys, if I do say so myself. At least I feel that way about THEM, I'm really beginning to wonder what they actually think about me. I really like it. Of course, there is a huge learning curve for me to learn all the apps and figure out how the things works. I'm pretty sure my kids and in-law kids think I'm a techno-idiot. They are probably pretty much right. haha. So we drove from there to Walmart to pick u...

Our Daley Life: Dinner's Served
http://angeladaley.blogspot.com/2012/11/dinners-served.html
Wednesday, November 28, 2012. I hate to cook! Ever night I hear "Mom, what's for dinner" I cringe! A few weeks ago, I decided to remedy that, and now, I only have to cook 2 nights a week :). I decided it's time the kids learn how to cook. James could be going on a mission in 4 1/2 years and he needs to be prepared, right? So each kid got to choose a favorite meal and I started teaching them how to cook it. As soon as they've mastered that meal, they get to choose a different one to learn how to cook.

Meyers' Fort: April 2010
http://meyersfort.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
LIFE, LOVE, AND LAUNDRY. Wednesday, April 28, 2010. I can't believe that my oldest daughter will be 17 in less than a month. How can that be? Where does the time go? For some reason, this is a tough one for me. I struggled when she turned ten. That was rough. Her sisters were six and three at the time. I loved it when people would ask me, "How old are your kids? First days of school, loose teeth, fights with friends, sleepovers, first dances, first boyfriends. It all happened just yesterday. I can feel a...

Meyers' Fort: March 2010
http://meyersfort.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
LIFE, LOVE, AND LAUNDRY. Monday, March 1, 2010. So, I haven't posted for a month now. That went fast. Here is hoping March is just as quick. We've had enough of winter. It did me a lot of good to hear those remarks. Kind of puts my mind at ease.maybe I've done something right after all? Whitney is starting softball conditioning, Kaylee claims to be going out for track (this is a new venture), and Cassidy has spring soccer coming up. Hopefully, more pictures will follow. The Reidheads: January 2012
http://jimandtamrareidhead.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 4, 2012. There's an old country song that reminds me of my Daddy. I love the words and thought I'd share the lyrics to Daddy's Hands. I remember Daddy´s hands, folded silently in prayer. And reaching out to hold me, when I had a nightmare. You could read quite a story, in the callouses and lines. Years of work and worry had left their mark behind. I remember Daddy´s hands, how they held my Mama tight,. And patted my back, for something done right. But I´ve come to understand. FEEDJIT L...

The Reidheads: Son-in-law
http://jimandtamrareidhead.blogspot.com/2009/05/son-in-law.html
Wednesday, May 27, 2009. This is my first son-in-law, Kenneth Trace Porter. There is nary a dull moment when he's around! While we were in Utah, we decided to take Brody to the dinosaur museum. It was lot of fun and there was so much to see there. After we finished looking at all the exhibits, we decided to go to the 3-D movie about dinosaurs. He: "Where's your ticket? Me: "I don't have it. The group I was with already went in and they have my ticket.". He: "Well, you can't go in without a ticket.".

Just Us: June 2008
http://lorifrusterio.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 30, 2008. Last Day of June. Here we are - already through June. Just one more month to enjoy before school starts back! We have had a busy summer so far - lots of swimming, playing outside, fun with friends, etc. As you can tell - I'm not too anxious for him to lose it either! These pictures were taken at Noah's eye appointment this summer. He did great and has perfect vision! He's been slow to warm up to wearing goggles - but now he's a pro! Hugs for mom and dad. . . It will change your life.
