Monday, May 11, 2009. The Canyon never ceases to provide an adventure. We started hiking at about 2:15 am. Between Indian Gardens and Devil's Corkscrew we ran into some Grand Canyon riff-raff hiking out. Rick and Brian had come to the Canyon the night before with a group of guys from work that opted to start hiking right away rather than sleep for a few hours. Olivia got to be an angel for the nativity at church. She was thrilled about her part and played it very well. After the program, we went to the store and she wasn't ready to take off her costume yet. Spencer and I enjoyed a date night and went to a fancy dinner then to see the Nutcracker.
