Sunday, August 17, 2014. Adventures in hairdos and a new camera. I got a Cannon SLR at a yard sale for $2. It needed a battery and a few cords, but after buying a battery and charger on ebay and finding the right cord in our cord stash it works perfectly. I will just need to remember to take pictures now. My brother Cameron has lived in NYC for 4 years so we went to visit him first. My mom and I flew into JFK and then went right to Cam's apartment. It was way nice of Cam let us invade his apartment for the week that we were there. While we were in NYC, we did lots of the touristy fun things and ate at some amazing restaurants!
