Rick and Diana's Big Adventure! Wednesday, September 23, 2009. We spent Friday, Sept 19 th. Driving from Red Bluff, Ca. to Redcrest. Is home to the Humbolt. Redwood Grove. These tress are just HUGE! There is no way to describe. Them and no picture that I could take that could do them justice. We spent two days driving up and down the Avenue of the Giants, stopping at points of interest and walking in the forest, just marveling at these trees. Everyone should see them at least once. Maps so we wouldn.

Rick and Diana's Big Adventure! Sunday, June 28, 2009. Here we are, almost ready to take off on our summer vacation. We can't wait to be on our way! We plan on leaving next thursday, July 2nd and will be heading to the Black Hills of South Dakota. We plan on watching the fire works over Mount Rushmore on the 4th of July. Rick and Diana's Big Adventure! Saturday, September 12, 2009. Yesterday was a bright and sunny day, so we decided to drive down the coast south to the town of Florence. It is around 50 Miles. Just north of Florence is the Heceta. Head Light House. There is also a Bread and Breakfast there that was the light keeper's home. It is a beautiful home and is owned by an executive. Chef They serve 7 course breakfasts each morning, using local ingredients. The pictures are an assortment from the drive. Enjoy!
