Thursday, June 2, 2011. I needed to renew my drivers license in Utah so we decided to go to the closest city. Kanab! We had everything planned out. Kanab is about 5 and 1/2 hours from where we live so we left really early Monday morning, we were going to renew my license, let the kids play somewhere, and head back home! Our plans were destroyed when we went to the office and they were CLOSED and are only open every 2nd and 4th tuesday of every month. can you believe that? They have the best city park!

Saturday, July 30, 2011. We started Kamryn on solids! She seems to like them but her tongue doesn't always cooperate! Out of the few fruits and veggies she has had she does the best with green beans! She is usually a pretty happy girl! It doesn't take much to get a smile out of her! She laughs the hardest for Ian and Kamryn when they are being silly and snuggles the most with me! She has crazy hair, but I love it! First ponytail at 4 1/2 months! It was a pretty cute ponytail! We all love her so much!

Sunday, February 20, 2011. My little reader. she loves to read books by herself! She doesn't necessarily like me to read to her, but she loves to look at the pictures and turn the pages! Lately, if I can't find her I first look in the toy room by the books because that is usually where she is! I love them so much! Playing in my shower with all of their stuffed animals! Wednesday, August 24, 2011. We had the FUNNEST day! Is that a word? Since Nik has the week off of school we decided to drive up to Sedona to visit Slide Rock (apparently a big tourist stop. there were people there from EVERYWHERE! It is basically a river with slippery rocks that you slide down! Ian is flexing his muscles for Grandma! It always works to get him to take a cute picture! The water was SO COLD! But it felt so good! Once you got used to it! After that most people started being careful again.

Monday, December 20, 2010. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Spendlove for such a fun Christmas! We love you and love our swing set! Thursday, December 16, 2010. We celebrated Nik's birthday this week! As school has been extremely busy we didn't do much! But what we did do was fun! We played a "balloon game" as Ian called it. we made little notes and put them inside the balloons then blew them up. Sunday, January 30, 2011. We put Miranda in a TWIN BED! I wasn't going to do it until a few months after I had the baby, but we decided to try it now and she loves it! She still sleeps really good and I think it will be one less thing for her to adjust to after we have the baby! The first couple of times she slept in it she pulled everything off and ended up falling asleep on the floor, but now she sleeps in her bed and really likes it! I let her pick out her comforter and sheets and that made her happy!

Saturday, May 21, 2011. She had a fun Birthday! She was spoiled with presents from those who love her. we had a pinata. she had a little party. and the whole day was about her! No wonder she LOVED it! I'm pretty sure we sang Happy Birthday to her several times just because she liked it so much! We got her this little car and it was a big hit! Lots of static electricity! She practically fell asleep in it and was playing in it this morning before we even saw her! Monday, May 16, 2011. We had a good day!

Tuesday, November 1, 2011. Ian had a field trip at Tolmachoff Farms! Halloween jammies. I had to post this picture because it is one of the only ones I have where she isn't smiling! Sunday, December 18, 2011. Whats been going on! Ian has been making his own bed! One day he was particularly excited about what he had done with it! Nik is quite the artist! Ian decided he wanted a transformer on one of his plain sweatshirts so him and Nik chose a picture on the internet, printed it off, and Nik painted it! I was pretty impressed and so was Ian! Then Miranda decided that she needed a shirt painted too! She chose a dinosaur! As you can see, she was very happy with the way it turned out!

Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Lots of new posts. be sure to see them all! Saturday we went to Nik's school for an Easter party/egg hunt! The kids had fun! They especially liked opening their eggs! We decided to try coloring eggs and they did a pretty good job! By the time we were done 4 of them were very broken, but we were able to use 8! BUT the Easter Bunny forgot to hide them! I'm sure we will do it again next year. even if we don't hide or eat the eggs it is still fun to make them! The kids had a blast!
