Adventures of a Drama Teacher. June 20, 2012} Green ain’t mean compared to RED. Well Guys and Dolls, Red. I made it once again to Alaska this time in a very different way. As you know I am married to OO7 and with that comes a uniqueness that can’t really be explained but I will try anyway. This summer is my 30 year class reunion. (Yes I know I graduated when I was 5, but that’s another story). Anyway OO7 says to me, he did, Do you want to arrive in a helicopter at your reunion? Oh how I miss La Grande (E...

Adventures of a Drama Teacher. March 20, 2014} The Life of a Drama Teacher. We are producing, again, under the ascap education umbrella The Road to Shambala. But have requested permission and royalty payment package from all the publishers that be as well. It’s funny these music publishing companies don’t want to make money? Why don’t they get back to you? So the metaphorical pounding of payment continues. My students debated the superiority of The Road to Shambala. Over Sweet and Innocent. There was a M...

I DREAM | Adventures of a Drama Teacher
https://adventuresofadramateacher.wordpress.com/2011/10/08/i-dream
Adventures of a Drama Teacher. October 8, 2011} I DREAM. I wanted to be Jeanie. Growing up in the 70s that was the thing. I was overly dramatic, I suppose, then too. I vividly remember pretending in my room that I was locked in my bottle by my master. It wasn’t so bad, yeah, Barbara Eden’s character was vexed a time or two by the imprisonment. But man, I always thought, I WANT to be in THAT BOTTLE! And Who is your celebrity crush? Since moving into, and remodeling and decorating, this house with my goofy...

July | 2013 | Adventures of a Drama Teacher

Adventures of a Drama Teacher. July 17, 2013} Go away little bear. Go away little bear, go away medium sized bear, black bear just Go away! I am not supposed to be alone with you. After observing four rather large eagles fly past the bay view bedroom window I share with my spouse OO7, on our island Shangri-La, I am placated that this flying feathered fowl foretaste assures me that God, and the god of all rock and roll stars, and I are linked in the cosmos. So patience is my friend. Go away bear, you go!

Adventures of a Drama Teacher. There was a Mouse in the House, or “I had Ants in my Pants at Disneyland”. Howdy Partners or should I say Bonjour! Nous sommes arrivee chez nous (basically we are home) from Disneyland Paris! Here are a few of the ninety photos I took. As most of the pictures are Mo and his friend I didn’t want to include them on the web nor the one where I might look slightly weight challenged in my down vest (it was COLD, but I wouldn’t want you to think I gained weight even if I did!

Adventures of a Drama Teacher. January 12, 2013} An AIMS prompted essay I wrote along with my students (as they wrote theirs). An AIMS Writing Essay by Tomi Griffin. There are other ways to skin a cat. Or should I say dog? The schools should try spreading the wealth, let the dogs eat the dogs and the cream rise to the top. Let those video playing couch potatoes go down if they so choose and let the smart kids triumph! Besides, who cares if America is obese? Just another day in the life.

Adventures of a Drama Teacher. June 23, 2011} where eagles fly. Here I am it’s almost 5:00 AM but I have been awake awhile, playing on Facebook chatting with a good friend who is three times zones away in Texas. Why am I up so early? His birdbaths attract eagles . Well, they do. I did mention to Sam that it now looks more like I live here than him and he ever so sweetly said, What’s wrong with that? After a day of painting to Sammy Hagar’s greatest hits according to me, Mo and I switched to shuffling the...

I hope to finish Red, aka Buying My Way into Heaven,. 007 is off again on a secret mission which gives me ...

That Most Memorable Christmas | Adventures of a Drama Teacher
https://adventuresofadramateacher.wordpress.com/2011/11/20/that-most-memorable-christmas
Adventures of a Drama Teacher. November 20, 2011} That Most Memorable Christmas. The main reason the job of life scanning is so overwhelming is: each photo takes you on a “Cold Case”, so-to-speak, in the aspect of deciphering the exact time the photo was taken. Then your mind wanders and the nostalgia pours in. Stories are ignited. I have some great students who are native and friend Rene and a few others. But off on a tangent I go.
