Monday, January 30, 2006. As if I have only one? Anyway, it's just that when someone comes up with a really kick ass topic (and both Froyd. Do) and the comments are really flowing, they go and post something else, and no one reads the comments or keeps the discussion going. It pisses me off. That's probably a problem, too. Sunday, January 29, 2006. EVER WANTED TO JUST RUN AWAY? But it isn't, anymore. Maybe the trees all look the same. Certainly the snow covers the same ground it did last year....Now I...

Friday, January 31, 2003. Tomorrow marks my one year anniversary with Carly. That makes this relationship probably 6 months longer than any I have had. For me, then, it is a milestone in what will, no doubt, be a series of good things to come. She makes me better. Nunc scio quit sit amor.". Thursday, January 30, 2003. Hey, check out this blog from a fellow student, independant of our class. It is a great example of mysticism. As well as a generous sharing of thoughts and emotions. 1-2 Lbs. Meat. I just t...

Friday, July 18, 2003. A weekend with Mike. Well blogfans, I haven't written as much as I should like to, but I am at least writing a little, so get off my back. THis week, after spending last weekend with Carly (OK I should tell that story first). Carly and I spent my birthday looking for furniture for our new place. We ended up getting some great deals at Ashley Furniture in Northbranch. We picked out two loveseats. A slate top coffee table and TV stand. And an awesome smoked glass dining room set.

Saturday, February 25, 2006. EVERYONE IS A LOSER. At least, everyone that I watch in professional sports, sure is. And I think it may be my fault. Take Tiger Woods, for example. I just give him a great review, talk about his competitive flow, and what does he do? Lose in the sweet 16, that's what. Now the Timberwolves. All year I say, "They will turn it around." Then they flop, and I say it again, and again. AND AGAIN. Tie game. Stop, shot, up two. Are you kidding me, up two! And so it has been all seaso...

Saturday, October 29, 2005. Seen here in this stock press photo, is at it again. He is adding to the already fine productions he has given us of late, dipping back into the past, and serving up a Knock-out. And I could let that slide. Lord knows I am going to watch the movie, just to see if he can get back in shape, or if he is going to wear a singlet ala Brain Dennehey in. But he didn't stop there. I called Slyvester to ask him what the hell he was doing:. Me: Hey Rocky, er um, Sly, how's tricks? You ar...

Thursday, September 29, 2005. We are paying congress for? To hold a hearing. Stupid. Actors, musicians, and sports figures do that. But seriously, cleaning up our national pastimes is a good idea. I am not sure how important it is for congress to get involved, but if they must. IF THEY MUST. At least they should be going about it the right way. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? What in the hell happened to due process? Is Bonds taking steroids? Sounds like Maris to me, too. But Malone was set to break the all time sco...

Friday, March 31, 2006. I can hardly call it a trip. Anyway, I am going to the Portland area tomorrow. The idea is to visit one of my greatest friends, and to look at a potential place to live. Beyond that, he is a stand up guy. He thinks before he speaks, enjoys life enough not to rip on everyone and everything (I am working on it, ok), and can have fun doing nothing. All A qualities. Ok, here it is, another rant about the nature of blogging and the internet. Today's topic: humo(u)r. Recently "lampooned...

Saturday, June 28, 2003. Still Here Day 2. I was going to write about the draft, sO I guess I had better say something. THIS DRAFT BLEW. Ok, so I look at only a few teams, and I don't really care about the others, but here is the run-down:. Washington picked up a couple more guards. They are like Minnesota with forwards: they have too damned many, and too young. Now they have 5 guards with less than two years experience. Is Tyronn Lue supposed to be the veteren leader? Wednesday, June 25, 2003. I decided...

Thursday, October 09, 2003. You see, most people look at the issue like this:. And they place themselves somewhere on that line. Of course, the relationship is not linear at all. In fact, I am finding most literary critiques will run a similar course. For example, disponents of pop culture will see a relationship like this:. Tuesday, October 07, 2003. Jordan's back, again(again). Hot off the rumor wire.Michael Jordan might play basketball again: FOR THE LAKERS. Friday, October 03, 2003. Let's see how clo...
