All My Fountains: Prayer Walks
http://allmyfountains.blogspot.com/2010/08/path-of-life.html
Thursday, August 5, 2010. Now when I say many miles, I'm not kidding. I kept track of the miles of prayer walks over the five years we prayed for our son to be born. It was somewhere around 700 miles! I'm grateful that the Lord has walked with me and talked with me down many, many trails and paths and streets and sidewalks and beaches through these years. I hope I can get back to doing it much more frequently. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). It's been along time between posts here. The following ...

All My Fountains: House Church: Skip the sermon, worship at home
http://allmyfountains.blogspot.com/2010/08/house-church-skip-sermon-worship-at.html
Sunday, August 8, 2010. House Church: Skip the sermon, worship at home. I was pleasantly surprised this morning to find an article in our local paper on the House Church movement. (Click on the title of today's blog post to be taken to the article). Here is a copy of a letter, a sort of thank you note for printing the article, that I sent to our local editor tonight:. A Song of St Francis | Craig Vick's Scattered Thoughts
https://craigvick.wordpress.com/2013/06/29/a-song-of-st-francis
Craig Vick's Scattered Thoughts. Adventures in Virtual Community. A Song of St Francis. June 29, 2013. For reasons unknown even to me I started a little journey a few of weeks ago through the writings of St Francis of Assisi. I had just watched the film ‘Brother Sun Sister Moon’. I wondered what the real man was like. His writings seemed a good place to start. I began with Canticle of the Creatures. Vole vole petite sœur. Vole mon ange, ma douleur. Quitte ton corps et nous laisse. Ta vie d enfant. I read...

Oh, Was It Easter? | Theological Musings
http://www.theologicalmusingsblog.com/2010/04/04/oh-was-it-easter
Random discussions about various topics, with an emphasis on simple church and other out-of-the-box thoughts. What Would You Say? Does “All” mean “All”? Oh, Was It Easter? April 4, 2010. Easter is one of those things that ceased seeming to be so important. No, I do not mean that the resurrection of Jesus ceased to have any importance for me! But what I mean is that the single day of celebrating that changed dramatically for me. When I was working in the institution, Easter was one of the biggest days of ...

Brotherly Love | Craig Vick's Scattered Thoughts
https://craigvick.wordpress.com/2013/08/01/brotherly-love
Craig Vick's Scattered Thoughts. Adventures in Virtual Community. August 1, 2013. I was twelve years old. My brother was seven. He took our Beagle Gigi out for a walk and came home in tears. He had wandered into a part of our neighborhood that was new to us. A couple of children living there had thrown sticks and rocks at our dog. My brother ran all the way home. The older and braver of the two children found his voice. “What happened to your hands? We never had any problems after that. Now that is good!

All My Fountains: Computer Golf
http://allmyfountains.blogspot.com/2010/08/computer-golf.html
Tuesday, August 10, 2010. I feel like I'm playing computer golf when it comes to fellowship. But then there's computer golf. Take away the conversation, the sunshine, the wind in my face, the sounds of birds and of cars on the highway nearby. Take away the good exercise, the smell of fresh mown grass. All you have left is points calculated by the computer, lots of mouse clicks, and imitation golf swing sounds. Just recently I enjoyed a wonderful conversation on Facebook regarding fellowship. Friends ...

All My Fountains: This Time Blogging
http://allmyfountains.blogspot.com/2010/08/this-time-blogging.html
Saturday, August 7, 2010. As I resume blogging after taking over a year off, I want to approach it a little differently:. I've disconnected my blog from my Facebook account. My Facebook friends are so varied - family, old friends, new friends, co-workers, some folks I barely know - that I felt restricted in what I could share. I hope to write short, to-the-point entries rather than long, drawn out ones. I hope to be more readable, even if I'm the only one reading me. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

All My Fountains: His Words, My Mouth
http://allmyfountains.blogspot.com/2010/08/his-words-my-mouth.html
Sunday, August 22, 2010. His Words, My Mouth. We attended St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Fayetteville this morning. Our neice, Hannah, was being christened. By the way, she was so cute and sweet in her little white gown, holding a little linen doll. What a sweetheart! Recently I have felt like God - my loving Father - has shown me that He is calling me to be more involved in the lives of others who are following Jesus (and those who aren't as well). But I am really rotten when it comes to con...

All My Fountains: What God did in...
http://allmyfountains.blogspot.com/2010/09/what-god-did-in.html
Wednesday, September 1, 2010. What God did in. In 1981, God directed my steps with perfect timing - not too early, not too late. He answered a simply offered prayer and gave me much more than I had asked for or expected. I am reflecting on the years 1981 through 2010 throughout the month of September: 30 days for 30 years). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Currently planning world tour. So far nobody has invited me to play anywhere. But I'm printing tour t-shirts in faith. I pick up my paper today and...

A Paradoxical Paradise: July 2007
http://hotrodsblog.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 31, 2007. What Do I Do? This may be the last video I post as I'm having a hard time finding different videos that I've worked on. If I find some more I'll post them (if anybody is interested). This is the first of six episodes (webisodes) for Samaritan's Purse called "Follow the Box". The videos show the progress and path of a shoebox from beginning to end. I worked on Episodes 1,2,5 and 6 - the latter two on location in Ecuador. I'll post some pics from that trip later. What Do I Do? Click...
