Sonia's Lovable Microwave Quirk - Jonathan Hamilton
http://jlhamilt.livejournal.com/63001.html
Sonia's Lovable Microwave Quirk. When Sonia enters a cooking time on the microwave, she does it in as few button presses as she can. If the recommended time is 3:30, she enters 3:33. If it's 1:00 and there's no one-minute button, she enters 1:11. I thought this was charming and idiosyncratic, but since I started microwaving breakfast burritos at work, I'm appreciating it differently. What do we have to gain from entering 1:30 instead of 1:33? What benefit is there to taking the time to track from 3 to 0?

So, I went to the APO Region III Conference and had a great time! I got to see. For the first time in a while. I saw. And got a chance to say hi to each of them, but I only saw. For about 3 seconds across a crowded room and did not get a chance to say hello. I spent some quality time with. I didn't get to talk to. As much as I wanted, but at least I've been able to see her relatively recently. And some other LJ-less peoples. It was lovely. Anyway, I headed back and started to get a headache. As I got...

Okay, so this is how it went down. Lizzy Borden - There Will Be Blood Tonight. Gonna post the account I gave my boy earlier. All right, nothing major, believe it or not. We'd been ring shopping for a while, and she knew exactly what she wanted. We went to this one place on Tuesday, and she was so impressed with one particular diamond they had that we pulled the trigger right then and there. The ring was gonna be ready for pick-up at 6:00 on Wednesday. She laughed and said, "You know, you. We got to talki...

Waba Restaurant and Pub. I'm going to embarrass myself trying to spell Korean (because all I remember from the three week portion of a Politics of China and Japan about North Korea is that Kim Il Sung is still the president) but the #1 will probably please most Western palates. I think the portions are generous but I rarely eat a whole plate of food so XLT people should stare down the staff to get more rice or something. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. It has been a few weeks since I actually ate here, but I finally remembered to write up a bit about it. If you are looking for traditional (non-Americanized) Japanese food besides just sushi, or the best sushi in the area, this is the place to go. Hidden away. They also serve a decent range of beers, wines, and saki. And for the record, my girlfriend was thrilled with the place because she had been looking for a "real" Japanese restaurant since she'd been here. Post a new comment. Post a new comment.
