During my short stay at Sri Lanka, I got a chance to visit Singharaja rain forest with one of my best friend Janaka and his family. We started our journey from Piliyandala at about 7pm. Our route to Singharaja was Piliyandala Kahatuduwa Mathugama Agalawatta Baduraliya Kalwana Weddagala Kudawa Conservation Centre (KCC). We reached to KCC at about 10am. We were able to see few birds very closely. Sri lankan Blue Magpie.

Monday, September 21, 2009. Safari at Mikumi and Udzunguwa. September 2009. It was about 5 am in the morning me and my friend Upul Uncle left Dar es Salam and started our Journey to Mikumi. We were able to reach to our hotel by 10 am, we stayed over night in Mikumi Tan-Swiss hotel. After spending more than 7 hours in the park we return to the Tan-Swiss hotel with unforgettable memories. In the morning we journeyed to Udsunguwa Mountain national park which is about 60km from Mikumi town.

Thursday, March 15, 2012. Day trip to Mikumi National Park. Early Sunday we set off to the Mikumi National Park. By 8am in the morning we arrived at the Park entrance. Due to the heavy rains our journey was delayed by about one hour. Mikumi National park is located about 300km from Dar es Salaam. We drove back to Mikumi Wild life camp for lunch.
