Tuesday, January 18, 2011. I'm a terrible blogger, I admit it. I'm going to give it a go again. Lots of things have changed or are changing in Libelle-ville :) I'm getting my feet wet in the pattern writing arena and really love it! I've got two completed patterns at this point Caelum. I've got three more in the works as I type! One is being test knitted by some awesome knitters and I'm very grateful for that. The other two are in my head and making their way to the computer. But its time to move on.

So, I thought it would be a good idea to use my own little guy to show how I measure him for his woollies! 1 With a diaper on.measure around the waist above the diaper (I get 16 inches):. 2 Then measure around the largest part of the hip (20.5 inches):. 3 Next, measure from the top of the back of the diaper, around the crotch, to the top of the front of the diaper (about 17 inches, but I'll do 18 inches):. I wanted this little shirt so badly! Of course my nephews are both now too big for it but I am adding this to my someday stash. Thursday, June 10, 2010. THE yarn is here! The other day I came home to a note on the door from the UPS. I wasn't sure what it was for at first. I did have a few skeins of yarn coming but I didn't think it would be coming this soon nor does it usually come by UPS. Then I read the note- Zelinger's Wool. THE YARN IS HERE! I ran up to the leasing office hoping it was up there. CLOSED. So unfair! I ended up getting 2ply worsted and 2ply sport. Both are lovely. Lots of pictures -enjoy! View my complete profile.
