I live on the east coast of Canada, and I enjoy making things with my hands. Knitting, embroidery, and cooking are what I enjoy most, but I'm not averse to trying new things. Oh yes, and I also dye my own yarn/thread! I just got home from the gym when it started to rain. 5 years ago. It's a beautiful day!

Powdered snow on tender greens. No excuse to not learn quilting. August 30, 2011. I think most of the fabrics are from samples, probably from things like curtains. They’re not quilting cottons. Nevertheless, I know that I can make something from them, and this gives me a really good chance to learn how to quilt properly. These are the little pieces.
