January 1st, 2015. I've always felt obliged to go out or do something special On New Years Eve but I realized this year that I don't really enjoy it. So this year I just had one glass of wine and me and my wife watched a film ('Enigma' anyone? Good film). My wife fell asleep half way through it (maybe I wasn't that good :) . It happened to finish at sea on midnight so I then turned on to BBC1 and watched the fireworks going off over the Thames for a few minutes and then went to sleep. November 9th, 2014.

November 7th, 2014. Has anyone outside the uk seen the artwork at the tower of London? There's a bit of controversy about it because it's supposed to come down on 11/11 (the date when world war ended) but some politicians have asked it to stay up so that the 1000s of people flocking to see it will get a chance. I hardly recognise myself - who is this person who keeps jumping straight out of bed in the morning, filled with energy and enthusiasm? 2014-09-24 11:08 pm (UTC). Sunny days make me want to die.
