Wednesday, August 26, 2009. Ariah is now 17 months! Recently she picked up my trick of tapping my toe when some food is dropped for the dogs to come and get it. So now whenever she drops food she taps her little toe on the ground too! It is very cute. She is still LOVING the Little Gym. She has learned to jump, and gets off both feet! The bars are her favorite where she loves to swing and pull her feet up to the bar. After 6 long months I think we are finally coming out of the separation anxiety phase!

Thursday, April 23, 2009. This month didn't start out all that well, but it got remarkably better :-) Ariah was sick for a week or so with a stomach bug, and not very pleasant (I can't say I blame her as Ben and I both got it too and it wasn't much fun.) Then I took her bottles and formula away, which she didn't like all that much, then she got two new teeth! That's a lot for a baby in a couple of weeks! But things worked themselves out toward the end of the month, and she's a much happier baby now!

Tuesday, February 24, 2009. I can't believe we're on the countdown to the big FIRST BIRTHDAY! This has been a really fun month. She is really starting to communicate more and has all kinds of new tricks! She is trying to sign more, but gets all the signs confused! Thursday, July 23, 2009. We just got back from our annual trip to San Diego with my parents. We had such a wonderful time and got to see lots of my family from Cali. We went out on our friends boat, went jet skiing, spent lots of time on the beach, walked and rode bikes on the boardwalk, and had a great time! Ariah loved the beach and had no fear of the water! A diary of our move and stay in Melbourne. Tuesday, 5 July 2011. Places we have stayed. Daylesford - Queen's Birthday. So the Queen was another year older and we didn't get her a present, however she was kind enough not to hold a grudge and gave everyone the Monday off. Both Andy and I were tired from work and a long weekend away was looking very attractive. Daylesford was highly recommended, especially as it was fairly close (1 hour 30 mins in the car) and was a spa town (so set up for relaxation).

These Are The Days. Thursday, June 4, 2015. Disney and the Beach 2015! Part 1 - Disney World. Family trip 2015 is in the books and summer hasn't officially even started yet. :) We took the boys to Florida for the week to spend a few days at Disney World and then finish the week off in Naples at the beach! Vacationing with the Smedbergs is EXACTLY what we needed! We all agree that we look forward to vacationing together when there can be a few day camps for the kiddos sprinkled into the itinerary ;).
