Our journey dealing with PCOS, crappy morphology, pregnancy and parenting after infertility. June 29, 2012. Baby J arrived today at 2:07pm. He is healthy, I am doing well, and things went great, except for the nurse needing three tries to get the IV in. So far he is calm and sleeping a lot. We have so much to be thankful for. Laquo; one more day (warning: belly picture). I am super freaking excited for you and I PROMISE it will be awesome! On June 29, 2012. Congratulations on Baby J! On June 29, 2012.

The Making of Baby V. PCOS, IVF, and a whole lot of craziness! Tuesday, August 19, 2008. Registry Madness Leads to Pregnant Woman's Confusion. Once again I have been a bad blogger and for that I apologize! We registered on Saturday! Breast pump- rent or buy? I put two different breast pumps on the registry because I wasn’t sure which one I liked better but they are so expensive! If we do end up renting one will I still need all of the accessories we registered for? Did I miss any accessories? We register...

The Making of Baby V: Birth Story
http://vollmerhausens.blogspot.com/2008/12/birth-story.html
The Making of Baby V. PCOS, IVF, and a whole lot of craziness! Sunday, December 28, 2008. Well, as you can see my little man decided to come a little early. Before I forget any of the details I wanted to record the birth story. Packing our hospital bag. Shawn's. They told me they had to check me and get a bag of IV fluids in me before I could get the epidural. They checked me and they all seemed shocked that I was already 5 cm dilated. I was already 7 cm dilated. And it was time to push but that the doct...

Little bit of something. Baby making with donor eggs after surviving cancer. After feeling pretty damn amazing for being just over 8 months pregnant this week revealed things can certainly change quickly. Little bit of something. Baby making with donor eggs after surviving cancer. Laquo; Less than 24. Not to be Outdone by a deadline M and V decided to show who’s really in charge by jumping the line to my scheduled induction Thursday at 7am and kickstarting labor just three hours sooner at 4am. After just over 13 hours the little people arrived both the old fashioned way. I’ll get the story out someday soon but for now some quick details. Baby A, now known as V, a girl is 5lbs 12 oz and came out head first.

Little bit of something. Baby making with donor eggs after surviving cancer. My doc has been waiting, have i mentioned how much i love her on this blog? Well i do. i heart her with all my might. she is hilarious and wise and always on top of my laundry list of medical issues and medications and she’s a big believer in vaginal twin deliveries so i’m just so excited that she will be with me through the entirety of the birth and i won’t have to go through this with someone else. I had no idea! I am so glad ...

Missing Connor: June 2010
http://missingconnor.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Navigating life without Connor. More on Connor and Colby! Tuesday, June 29, 2010. So Colby's birthday is in just over 2 weeks and I have totally dropped the ball on this one. We still don't know where we are having it. our house is way too small, so we're stuck. That's the only real obstacle, but it's a major one. We can't even do invites without knowing where it will be. Any special ideas of how to honor the baby who passed away while still keeping things upbeat for the baby who is here? He Will Carry Me.

Navigating life without Connor. More on Connor and Colby! Sunday, March 21, 2010. The past few months have felt like a series of milestones. Friday marked 8 months since the boys' birth. 8 months since our world was rocked by the two little tiny bundles. 8 months since one of the best days- and scariest- of my life. As always happens- and will forever happen- this big month milestone for the boys is quickly followed by the worst milestone of all- another month that we have been without our precious Connor.

Missing Connor: December 2009
http://missingconnor.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Navigating life without Connor. More on Connor and Colby! Thursday, December 24, 2009. I think I kind of realized why tonight. We were at a family Christmas Eve party and there were some family members who had never seen Colby, never mind Connor. They oohed and they ahhed and said how cute he was, how good he was, how he was the "Christmas miracle" for the family. . And every time they said something I thought "What about Connor? Wednesday, December 23, 2009. 24 hours and 24 minutes. The sweet: We're ...
