Sunday, July 24, 2016. George Lakoff has had poor results in aiding progressive causes with well considered and researched rhetorical arms. Unfortunately, he's been an ineffective counterpoint to Frank Luntz, despite his academic bona fides. But I'm still indebted to his work in language and cognitive science, and I'm still absolutely compelled to at least consider everything he writes on any topic that pertains to the power of language.
