My good friend Sara and I decided that it would be a good idea to pack up all of our kids (2 four year olds, 1 two year old, and 2 one year olds), rent a van, and head up to the Smokies for 5 days. Overall, it was a big success. Very few meltdowns, great hotel, and plenty to do. Here are a few cute pictures! Posted by Tastebuds Boutique Catering. Monday, February 23, 2009. John has very few days off including Saturdays so when he had 4 days (over Valentines Day weekend) off we decided to go out of town. Turns out, he had to speak in church Sunday so we made it a short trip. We went to Santa Rosa on Friday morning. John worked while the kids and I explored the town. Wednesday, July 9, 2008. 6/22/08. Isaac 6 months plus. Just home from church! We were so lucky to have Kaitlyn come back with us for a week! We went to the zoo and happened to be there for Lama petting time* Kaitlyn, you are a blast to be around too! Eli loved being at St. George with Jack and the girls, plus all of their cousins. Eli keeps talking about going back to St. George to see Jack, Cali, Kaylin, and Brynn. I love how he pronounces their names. Thanks for taking such good care of Baby Isaac!

Saturday, May 2, 2009. Take me out to the ball game. My dad got us tickets to the Isotopes game on Friday. We had club seats right behind home base. They were great seats! Charity was having none of it though. I spent the first couple innings at the playground with her. The next 3 innings with Mads looking for what she wanted to eat. Wednesday, October 29, 2008. They are filming a movie staring Jackie Chan at Madison's school Thursday and Friday. Madison went to a casting audition on Monday to try out for an extra. We hadn't heard anything by today so she was pretty disappointed. I was looking at the information and they are still looking for "mall background" for the movie. Hmm, we'll see how much they pay.
