FSGS Sucks: 2015-07-26
http://fsgssucks.blogspot.com/2015_07_26_archive.html
Thursday, July 30, 2015. 1st dose of Ritixumab. The process has OFFICIALLY started! Yesterday, I went to Mayo to have my first dose of Rituximab. We left the house at 5:00am (which was PAINFUL) but made it to Mayo at 7:00am for labs. See how happy we are to be awake? Benadryl is awesome. It makes me SO sleepy. Neither was he when he got to eat the leftovers :). The most exciting thing out the infusion was that I couldn't do dialysis last night. A night of FREEDOM! Unfortunately, I kinda need dialysis for...

FSGS Sucks: Tick tock goes the clock
http://fsgssucks.blogspot.com/2015/07/tick-tock-goes-clock.html

I'm still thrilled, but now I'm READY for the next step. As I understand it, a nephrectomy is probably a 2-month recovery. T...

Saturday Bullets: Givin’ Blood Edition | As The Pump Turns
https://asthepumpturns.wordpress.com/2008/11/15/saturday-bullets-givin-blood-edition
As The Pump Turns. On working in an inner city dialysis clinic, trying to survive nursing school and wondering where her sanity went. Saturday Bullets: Givin’ Blood Edition. Gave whole blood this morning, my second time in Washington State, doesn’t even hurt one bit and hopefully helps save some lives. Having two cats is not twice the work, it’s like five times the work, the cat hair in my carpet is unbelievable. Was the highlight of my week. Note to family: No mo’ drama.
