Friday, July 23, 2010. Ella christened the Summer with her first dance recital at Steps of Faith Performing Arts Center. She was a delight to watch but the real fun was backstage. Monday, December 14, 2009. Happy 5th Birthday, Baby Girl! Five years ago today I was in the hospital and I was crazy nervous about the new little girl I was about to meet. If only I had known how special she would be. She has a heart that is twice as big as her little body and almost as big as her smile. She’s obsessed with animals of every kind and would save them all (in her bedroom) if we gave her the chance. She is already more than I had hoped for and she is mine. Let the celebrations begin!

Saturday, August 14, 2010. A Week of Firsts. This week has been filled with backpacks, lunch totes and nap mats. That’s right. It’s back to school time. Actually, it’s just school time since this week has been a week of firsts in the McCleary house. This little doll started Kindergarten this week.
