Yearning to read in a bay window with a view of the sea. June 2, 2015. June 2, 2015. So far, every year in Austin we’ve gone to St. Edwards Park to see the bluebonnets. I dug through our old photo vault and found a few examples. Stephen told me I could only post this picture if everyone knows it is a joke. Which it is…but I also find it kind of sexy. Naomi in her blessing dress. So little! This year we had a little bit more luck getting Naomi to look. The moments were still brief, though. And so it goes.

Yearning to read in a bay window with a view of the sea. Anyway, at this point our life is a little less idealic, but still perfectly lovely. We have a 2-year-old, Naomi, who confuses and delights us with her demands and antics. I graduated in electrical engineering and am currently working at an engineering firm in Austin, Texas and Stephen just graduated from law school and is working for a small law firm. Tuesday, April 20, 2010. So when I was a little girl I used to tell my parents ALL the time that I wanted to be an ACTRESS. My grandma would take me to musicals all the time and I always made her stay afterward just to watch all the cast members come out and go home. I admired them and wanted SO badly to be like them! I've always loved musicals and music in general and as a little girl I dreamed of being on the STAGE. I get STAGE FRIGHT! Both times it was such a liberating experience for me!

Sunday, August 28, 2011. Did Ya Miss Us? So I figure eight months is about right between updates, don't you think? It's been a while. Guess I figure I should make a post about all the excitement that has been part of our lives this year. So far, it's been pretty amazing :). Chris found a job! Chris's family is doing great. His mom had a major surgery back in June but she is almost fully recovered from that. Now they just need to clear her to drive! My Dad reading a poem he wrote about his Dad to his Mom.
