Monday, August 10. My sister-in-law wanted to practice taking some pictures, so of course Lucy and I offered to be models! It was so fun! We wanted to go take pictures outside, but with Texas summer being in full swing with the temperature being 100 degrees, that wasn't happening. Taking pictures with an almost 2 month old is not an easy task, especially when she has a short span of happiness after eating and before she just wants to take her nap. But I love how they turned out! Brent and Aubrey Stock.

Monday, July 13. LUCY: 1 M O N T H. Wow has it seriously been one month? But it hasn't taken too long for us all to get into a routine and she now gives me about 4-6 hour stretches of sleep. Moving her into her own room rather than having her in our room was the best decision. Lucy makes so many little noises when she is sleeping that would constantly wake us up. There is a much happier papa, mama, and baby around here when we all get sleep. She is obviously super happy to be 1 month. Gas drops. Poor...

Thursday, June 25. Here are just some random pictures from her first week home. Izzy meeting her baby sister for the first time. She has adjusted really well to this little crying machine, and gets worried when she starts crying. She loves the mamaroo. She makes the cutest little faces. Her wrinkly forehead just kills me. First Doctor's Appointment. This girl loves to suck on her hands. At her appointment, she made sure to have a poopy diaper and then peed all over the table when we were changing her.

I lost my camera charger at some point during the month of September, forcing me to take photos with my less-than-stellar iPod camera for 8 months. I found that charger recently. Monday, November 21, 2011. Fourth Graders Make Me Smile. It's hard to believe that my time student teaching this semester is already over. I cannot wait until I have a full year with a class of adorable children. Today was filled with smiles, hugs and goodbyes. I am going to miss these little guys :(. We tried for two normal ones.some of them just couldn't fake it that long. Our real personalities finally coming out. Seriously each student is so unique I couldn't help but love them.
