http://chickadeesat117.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Chickadees and Other Adventures at 117. Friday, August 31, 2012. The chickens have been enjoying the sunshine, following all that rain! Doofy is getting pretty big, he's still not quite got a handle on the cock a doodle doo yet:-). He is however, doing a good job with the hens, keeping them safe and rounding them up into the coop at night. Thursday, August 9, 2012. It's Raining and Raining . and Raining. So, they were looking pretty bedraggled by this afternoon, here's Sage, one of the Rhode Island Reds.

Chickadees and Other Adventures at 117: Lamby
http://chickadeesat117.blogspot.com/2012/10/lamby.html
Chickadees and Other Adventures at 117. Sunday, October 14, 2012. I have been so neglectful- we've had a special guest staying with us for 4 weeks now, while her owners are away. We are looking after Dandelion the lamb. She was rejected by her mum, probably because she was the first one born of twins. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Chickadees and Other Adventures at 117: July 2012
http://chickadeesat117.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Chickadees and Other Adventures at 117. Sunday, July 1, 2012. Well it's been a while, the chickens have looked a bit scraggy as most of them have been doing a full moult- and trust me that ain't pretty, seemed too mean to take their photos then. Some of them are still "growing" their new feathers but most have shiney new ones. I especially love Huffy's new feathers I keep telling her she looks "Mighty Spruce" she also has new "shoes" I love her feathered feet :-). Here's Doofy with some of "his" hens.

http://chickadeesat117.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Chickadees and Other Adventures at 117. Tuesday, May 8, 2012. We have decided to keep one rooster- Dooffy, he's a Rhode Island Red. He has a lovely gentle nature, he's not quite mature yet, so I guess that could still change. He's going to be one big chicken! Here are the 2 Dorking hens, they are great friends, and are very social. So if they see you they run up and have a chat. They don't have names yet- so ideas please! That's all from the chickadees this week. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://chickadeesat117.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Chickadees and Other Adventures at 117. Monday, April 16, 2012. Can we go out now? Everyday, the chickens wait patiently to be let out of their run into the garden. We like them to have have laid their eggs and to have had a good serving of their Peck N Lay food. Here are Huffy and Ginger discussing and wondering how much longer they may have to wait. We are still missing Bambino, amazing how much you can love and miss a special chick. Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Rest in peace Bambino. We love you Bambino x.

http://chickadeesat117.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Chickadees and Other Adventures at 117. Sunday, January 29, 2012. Here's our chicks new home, nice and spacious and comfy :-) they've mostly settled. They have to stay inside the coop at the moment, otherwise they could run off into the bush, but after a week or so we'll let them out into the garden. And Bambino, is doing well, she's definately getting taller and has more feathers, but as you can see she's got a long way to catch up with the others. Have a great week. Wednesday, January 25, 2012.
