Thursday, March 09, 2006. You will notice that I have a soft spot in my heart for Delphi. It was my first experience with good UI design as well as OOP concepts. The Reg Developer. Written in an Old Testament biblical (King James) manner, that lays out the slow descent of Delphi. Posted by WWWGeek at 3/09/2006 07:39:00 AM. My friend Joe at d3 eMinistry. Friday, August 19, 2011. Are we all phony? In response to an article by Scott Hanselman, I must say I completely agree that I too am a phony. You should take the time and read it here. Posted by WWWGeek at 8/19/2011 07:30:00 AM. Monday, August 01, 2011. It has been sometime since I tried the blogging route and felt it was time for a new awakening. The topics will be within the realm of IT, but as I have taken on a management role in recent months I plan to focus on leadership and growth. Are we all phony?

Tuesday, September 13, 2005. Javascript Fun - Picture Album. I apologize for the length of time since my last post. Life gets in the way at times. I don't have anything against this implementation, but what we needed required a different set of parameters:. Multiple images displayed at a time (I chose 4, but it could be easily customized). Single page to access all albums, but not necessarily show all albums. So, how did I solve this challenge? Var page = new PageQuery(window.location.search);. Additiona...

Friday, June 24, 2005. Creating a Cancel Button to Go Back. Many of you may be familiar with the need to add a Cancel button on a form or other page. I ran to an interesting development though when all I wanted it to to was return to the previous page. the previous page, as defined by the JavaScript history cache, is not what you may have expected. It seems that EVERY postback is stored in the browser history cache and going back like this. May not always work. Sigh. ViewState["history"] = Convert.To...

Friday, January 27, 2006. While reading an article at d3 eMinistry blog, titled Phishing, Stop the Madness! I noticed his recommendation to take a quiz. As to your fool ability. Well, I took it and got a 90%. It would have been 100% if Capital One was better at their emails. but at least I errored by calling a legitimate email a fraud. This thing has got some power. In my case I was updating and creating files that needed to be reflected to the user via a Windows desktop application. Some of the more irritating issue revolve around multiple event execution and the built-in cache size. The one I want to concentrate on now is the cache. If you are plann...
