Standing up to MS. Tuesday, December 7, 2010. Last year a new theory and treatment was suggested to the MS sufferers of the world, and unlike the current accepted treatments this one seems to work. Like a lot of MS sufferers, I hesitate to wait for the result of clinical trials and testing which generally takes 10-15 years, since I am already well on my way to becoming permanently wheelchair bound. Standing up to MS. Monday, December 13, 2010. The phone rang today while I was making dinner. I almost did not make it in time. The person said they were from Toronto Medical Imaging, and my heart skipped a beat. I had put myself on the waiting list for the Doppler medical imaging late September. I expected a call sometime in February or March, so I did not get my hopes up. It sucks that it will cost $250 just before Christmas, but it will be a GREAT gift for myself this year (I have been good).
