Stand Up For Kids. Stand Up For Kids. Lorene Caravello, has been a Board Member for 2.5 years. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, she also serves on the board of Speh Family Foundation, her family’s private grant making foundation funding programs for youth ages 13-19. When I learned more about the issues of Teenage Homelessness in Chicago, I knew that the approach of SUFK could really make a difference in the lives of these kids. To see a program grow in the right direction has been inspiring.
