Week beginning Monday 5th September 2016. The children return to school at 8:35am on Tuesday 6th September (Monday is an Inset day). On Thursday at 6:30pm Year 1 parents are invited to a meeting about the year ahead and the meeting for Year 4 parents is at 7:30pm. Sunday 11th September is Education Sunday. Banstead Junior followed closely. Next year’s gala will return to the autumn term and is already booked for Friday 21st October, so it will not be too long before our swimmers are in action again. Running to Rio is continuing to the end of term (at least). The number of miles the children have covered now totals over 8,000 miles! Two classes have run over 1000 miles! On Friday 12th December, the children in Reception performed their nativity ‘Born in a Barn’ for their parents, having presented it to the school the day before. It was wonderful to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas together. The children had worked very hard rehearsing for this, as was evident in the fantastic performance which was enjoyed by all.
