Spring Has Sprung - Patricia Tyler Landscape Services

Spring has sprung, the grass has ris, I wonder where the flowers is? Have you ever heard this old expression? The original version uses the word birdies in place of flowers, but it holds true in the cold uncertainty of spring on the West Coast. Here we are in April with little growth and colour in our gardens so far. On the bright side, it’s a great time to clearly see the early ‘gaps in your garden’. If you love the cheerfulness of bright yellow blooms, you might want to check these out:.

What's a Reasonable Fee - Patricia Tyler Landscape Services
http://www.patriciatylerlandscape.ca/index.php/2-uncategorised/8-whats-a-reasonable-fee
2003 Award Winning Garden. What's a Reasonable Fee. Landscape Contractors offer a variable fee structure. Rates for design, construction and maintenance will vary, as do rates for crew, supervisors and owner / operators. Other than for basic Lawn Care, it can be difficult to get a quote ‘site unseen’ or over the phone. Material costs alone can fluctuate wildly, site access can be limited and too tight for heavy equipment, increasing labour rates. Many factors go into an estimate. Cathy at Greener Gardens.

Pat's Picks - Patricia Tyler Landscape Services
http://www.patriciatylerlandscape.ca/index.php/pats-picks
Pest and diseases are rarely serious problems with the following trees, however that’s not to say they’re without other challenges. Some are rare and difficult to source. Others are often listed as marginally hardy, though I have not found this to be so in my area of South Surrey, White Rock. My personal all time fave. 1st class in flower, leaf, form and fall color. More single stem and tree-like than A. canadensis. Just plain pretty. Wine tipped wavy leaf. Zig-zag branching. Odd, open-spaced and stiff b...
