We are the Barretts . Wednesday, December 12, 2012. Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Whyyyyyyy do Christmas decorations take me so long to put up? I love them. Seriously, love them. But, I'll admit it's a bit of a chore. Tim and I pulled out the beginning of the Christmas decoration bins two weekends ago when my cousin, nicole, was over after a soccer game. I've poked around at it, but today got down to serious business and FINISHED! Lucky for me she let me pay her with a glass of merlot!

We are the Barretts . Sunday, December 16, 2012. Tonight marks night 4 with sister in her crib and out of our room. In her pack and play next to our room, she had started waking up almost every hour. As much as I needed sleep, I was sad to think about her sleeping in a room by herself! When directed back to sleep, he went back into his own bed. Surprisingly, though, she slept all night! We are the Barretts . Tuesday, July 02, 2013. Incentivizing your 7 year old to do more reading by letting him earn money reading books to buy more books? Jared's been so serious about racking up the rewards that he read the entire full length book, "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" by CS Lewis in ONE day last week. It was a $4 book on the reward chart. Should have taken him a week! Instead, he read for 7 hours in that one day! Earning credit to buy books by reading books. :-). House for Rent - $975...
