After the Colorado Rockies game - they won, but who cares, we were rooting for the Cardinals. I think they played in Tampa Bay that night. First Rafting trip. Family shot 1/2 way down the upper Colorado River. Below-We took a hike with Sarah and her trusty dog. Kyra and Rosco found this nice rock to rest upon. Black Canyon National Park.

The logs used to build this torii are said to have come from a 1,500 year old cypress tree on Mount Tandai in Taiwan, which surprised me due to my previous held opinion that everything that came out of Taiwan was plastic. Who knew! We stayed near the world's busiest train station - Sinjuku. The book we had said about 2 million people pass through there every day....

I was lucky enough to tack on a few extra days off on both sides of my vacation this month which enabled us to have 3 weeks to explore Southeast Asia. We started in Thailand where we worked our way through Bangkok, Chang Mai, Phuket and the Phi Phi Islands and then capped it off with a refreshing dose of reality during our week long stay in Cambodia. Kyra got a bike for her birthday, but I think she likes the helmet the best. We visited my parents in Florida in January. We had lots of beach time. Kyra likes to play in the sand with Pa Pa. We do lots of painting. Van Gogh is still her favorite. Here Kyra delves deep into her blue period. We spend lots of time at the zoo. Colorado lake with mom.

Beaches like this one are very typical on the Kona coast this time of year. Kyra spent lots of time in flippers. However most of it was on dry land. Vicki exiting the water after a snorkel.
