Steph Spang's blog about stuff. Tuesday, July 17, 2007. I've been a bit busy with races in the recent past, so I'll try to give a quick recap. 06/30/07, Oak Grove, MN. 07/07/07, Grand Rapids, MN. After a week of riding with a loose spoke, I finally replaced it the day before the race and my bike was in good condition for the cracked, bumpy roads in Grand Rapids. I love this race because it is in a beautiful location and the atmosphere is so fun; but there were definitely some downsides to the race:.
