When mass-posting a message to all of the chroniclers in the kingdom, it would be a good idea to spell-check your message. Especially if you are the Kingdom Chronicler and the word you misspelled multiple times is the name of your and their offices. I'm not one who deserves to throw stones - I often mess up my own messages too. But this one, spread across so many message venues, made me laugh.). Post a new comment. For those who'd like to see what we can do for fun.... - ASK A HORDESMAN

The Great Dark Horde. For those who'd like to see what we can do for fun. - ASK A HORDESMAN. Great Dark Horde: Open Camp. 21 December 2008 @ 10:24 am. For those who'd like to see what we can do for fun. In the horde, there is a lovely thing called schtick. This qualifies partly under that, and partly under doing things well and setting an example for others, I suppose. That, and many of us love to have fun with a good challenge! Omar says we're a bunch of overachievers, but he was grinning when he said it.

KASF library: atlantia

In no particular order:. The ribbon tied through the book w/name label worked. Now that we know that, repeat performances of a library at an event should include instructions to the book owners to do that (if they can) before the event so the staff won't spend the first couple of hours processing books. Next time, though, we'll use/suggest curling ribbon for gift-wrapping rather than cloth ribbon. It'll be less expensive, too. Encourage more folks to use their cameras/camera phones to take pictures of im...

Atlantian History Lesson of the Day: atlantia
http://atlantia.livejournal.com/56455.html
Atlantian History Lesson of the Day. If you guessed the original crowns worn by the Prince and Princess of Atlantia when Atlantia was still a Principality of the East Kingdom, you would be correct. This means they are over 30 years old. I took these pictures at Defending the Gate on March 27, 2010 before the crowns were sent to be cleaned and refurbished. Crossposted to my personal LJ*. Mud To The A* - Slow roasted for maximum flavor. March 2nd, 2010. 12:19 pm - Mud To The A*. For those planning on attending MTA, either as Indiginous Personnel or as tourons, do you need anything? I'll be there in my capacity as LaBelle Camp Cooker, but I can easily bring along random items of desire; pitchers, curfews, etc. Let me know now, 'cause Mud Through the Ages is thundering down upon us like a giant, thundering thing. March 2nd, 2010 06:21 pm (UTC). Remember the apothecary/butter jar discussion?

What would you do? - View From the Stacks

201002.20 @ 15:36. What would you do? View From the Stacks. What would you do? On 2010.02.20 at 15:36. Today I was at COSTCO and got stuck behind to people who were clustered around one of the sample stands. The gentleman said, to my back, You don't have to get mad, they are just children. I decided just to keep going, but I wasn't angry at the children. Did I do right? Should I have said something? Would it be best to just avoid stores when they have the sample stands out? Early Feast Days and Saints. Mar 3rd, 2013. Humbert III of Savoy / Umberto III di Savoia (d. 1188) In 1148 Humbert became count of Savoy at the age of 13. He abdicated and went to a Cistercian monastery, but returned to power to get married for reasons of state; after an heir was born he headed back to the cloister (the Cistercians say that he became a monk, but apparently this is debated).
